Linda has studied art since she was a child and has worked in virtually every medium.

She has this to say about her training, and her work:

Linda painted this airbrushed motorcycle in 1977
"I got into art at the age of 8, when I started art school in oil painting. I did years of Saturdays at art school.

I was also into sewing and wanted to be a fashion designer. I would leave stationary and stuffed animals at stores on consignment at the age of 12. At 15 I painted denim jackets, and the Fish became my nickname, after my maiden name.

I loved my art on the streets, and not just hanging on a wall. I did many art shows just to have my paintings out. At 16 I got into air-brush painting motorcycles, vans and my first car at 17. I taught myself airbrush; they had no classes on it then. I even wound up teaching my teacher at my art school.

Linda created this study of Frank Frazetta's work in 1984.
It was featured in "Iron Horse" magazine
I loved doing bikes, I did that for many years. That is how my nickname changed from Fish to Lady Fish. They thought it was a guy painting the bikes. At 20 I met my ex-husband and we got into tattooing together. Back in those days girls weren't in the shop unless you were helping your man. It was a man's world of tattooing and bikes, but I learned and combined it all to come up with the permanent make-up.

It made so much sense to me given the foundation that I have. The possibilities are endless, even for me today. I am fully tattooed 2x's over (cover-up). I've lived and studied the art for many years. I have even applied my own permenent make-up. I've had the benefit of watching my clients over the years age with their permanent makeup. They look better than they ever thought they would have as they have aged. To be a pioneer in this field is very exciting for me.

A garage door study of the work of Joyce Ballantyne
So what is next?

Now I'm also painting murals on garage doors. It took me 50 years to see it!

I'm not done till I'm done..."
